These standard 4 bedroom properties feature a modern kitchen with a cooktop and separate fridge freezer, as well as a lounge/dining area with a 32-inch TV. Each bedroom is 90.5 sq. ft.,comes with a cosy 4-foot double bed, ample storage space, and a study corner with desk and chair.

Each room comes with shower and toilet facilities included.

Tenants of Avon Way House can enjoy free unlimited Glide Wi-Fi throughout the accommodation.

Facilities

The stylish student hub provides the perfect place to relax and socialise including a studio gym, cinema room, study space, games room, with the student cafe and vending machines for those midnight munchies.

Unwind and socialise in the Student Hub, which has space for a Cinema Room, Games Room and Pool Room, alongside the student cafe and vending machines, which are available at all hours.

Within the Student Hub, you’ll also find a Meeting Room as well as quiet and joint study spaces, which are ideal for getting on with your Essex Uni courses.

Finally, the Student Hub offers space to exercise. Our on-site gym/studio provides an area for you to work out or perform other activities like dance and yoga.

There is a bus stop directly outside the Avon Way grounds, offering easy access into central Colchester, and a safe bus is available from the Zero nightclub, which will drop you off in the same place at night.

Getting to the Essex Uni Campus is a casual 15-minute walk, or a 5-minute bike ride.

When you book your room with us, you will be asked to pay a one-off payment of £295.00. This will cover the cost of your utility bills, including water, electricity, gas and internet, during your stay at Avon Way House.

If no Standard 4 bedroom apartments are available, consider looking at our Classic 4 bedroom apartments. These apartments offer similar amenities to the Standard, and more importantly, provide that 4 bedroom living situation that you want during your time at University.

What if I need a quieter living space?

If you require a quieter living space, why not consider our Studio apartments? These apartments are designed for you to be able to cook, relax and study within the confines of your own room. Our Countryside View Studio Apartment even offers a lovely view of the Colchester countryside. They also still offer the option of socialising through the communal kitchen area, and the Student Hub is always available.
